it is important to note that “natural" skincare products are those that do not have any synthetically created ingredients.  But there is no real approved definition for a natural product, and there's no research to prove that it is better—or safer—than its regular counterparts.  Generally, it implies that the products are formulated with ingredients found in nature, like botanicals, herbs and plants. Everything is a chemical—even water—so chemical-free products don't exist.  Synthetic products, on the other hand, generally mean that a naturally-derived ingredient (like hyaluronic acid) has been molecularly replicated.
